Here at The Bass Merchant we aim to be a one stop shop for Bass Players whether you are starting out with your first bass or are a seasoned pro.

At our physical shop in Colchester Essex we stock all the latest bass gear and if we don't have it we will be happy to order in product for you to try, just contact us on 01206 751173 or sales@bassmerchant.com and we will do our very best to accommodate your request. As our stock is always changing it is worth a call to make sure we have what you need before travelling.

If you can't make it to the shop then browse this website for the latest products at superb prices and order on line or feel free call us for advice and with free delivery on all items over £150 we don't penalise you for doing so.

I have been a bass player for 20 years and it has always disappointed me that the majority of music shops relegate the bass equipment to a dusty corner.
